Meet the team – The Grove Medical Practice

We aim to provide high quality patient-centred care and hope you will be happy with the services we provide. Our team comprises GPs, junior doctors, nurses and administrative staff all of whom are fully trained and here to help you. GPs

Dr Ramesh Bhatt BSc MBBS DCH FRCGP (male)

Dr Bhatt is the practice’s senior partner. He established the practice in 1993 and is available for consultation on Mondays and Tuesdays. He has extensive experience in GP education and is Associate Dean of Postgraduate General Practice at the London Deanery.

Dr Eamonn Rabie BSc MBBS DRCOG MRCGP (male)

Dr Rabie joined the practice in 2009 and became a partner in 2011. He is available for consultation every week day except Monday and provides an evening surgery on a Wednesday. He is interested in medical education and trains GP registrars in the practice. He also has an interest in musculoskeletal disorders and undertakes joint injections in the practice.

Dr Nadya Rahman BSc MBBS MRCGP DRCOG DFFP DGM (female)

Dr Rahman joined the practice in September 2011 as a salaried GP and became a partner in 2023. She works five sessions a week on a Monday, Thursday and Friday. Dr Rahman is an approved F2 supervisor and responsible for supervising F2 doctors within the practice..

Dr Payal Patel BSc MBBS MRCGP (female)

Dr Patel joined the practice in February 2019 as a salaried GP and became a partner in 2023. She is at the practice on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Dr Patel is an approved F2 supervisor and responsible for supervising F2 doctors within the practice.

Dr Kavita Bhatt BSc MBChb MRCGP (female)

Dr Kavita Bhatt joined the practice in August 2020 as a salaried GP and became a partner in 2023. She is at the practice four days a week Tuesday – Friday.

Dr Davinia Haggis BSc MBBS DRCOG MRCGP DFSRH DGM (female)

Dr Haggis originally joined the practice in 2011 and was a partner until she moved out of London in 2020. We are delighted that she has returned to the practice as a GP locum offering telephone surgeries on two days a week usually on a Monday and Tuesday.

Dr Sai Kumarachandran (female)

Dr Kumarachandran is a doctor undertaking specialist medical training in general practice under the supervision of Dr Rabie. She is a qualified doctor in her second year of training to be a GP. She is fully supervised and debriefed after every session by a GP in the practice and is able to call on a supervisor during surgery if required. Consultations with this doctor may take a little longer than usual.

Clinical Pharmacists

Our clinical pharmacists are responsible for reviewing medication and dealing with medication and prescription queries. You may be asked to book an appointment with one of our pharmacists for a medication review or for a review of a long term condition.

Nursing Team

Our practice nurses provide full nursing care within the practice and are available five days a week.

Nurse Sarah joined us in June 2017 as a very experienced practice nurse. She provides the full range of nursing duties and chronic disease management including asthma, COPD and diabetes checks.

Nurse Mary Jane joined us in September 2015 having previously worked as a nurse in orthopaedics and cardiology. Mary Jane has completed full training as a practice nurse and also runs our phlebotomy clinics 3-4 times per week.

Reception and Admin Team

Our receptionists and admin team are your first point of contact when you visit the practice. We pride ourselves on having very friendly reception staff who will do everything they can to help you. They are trained to help patients in a sensitive manner and to respect confidentiality at all times.
